The building, named Chiaramonte Palace, is a wonderful architectural example of the 1700. At the top floor of the building there's the apartment which overlooks on Duomo square.

Erice, a little village situated on the top of a mountain has a wonderful panoramic position and is one of the main Sicilian tourist destination. It represents a marvelous synthesis of art, history and landscape. Erice, dominated by the medieval castle, which before was Afrodite temple, allows to visit, thanks to its monuments, relics of Elymians (they were the founders), but also Punics, Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs and Normans.

Among the most famous monuments: The Mother Church, The Medieval Castle, The Norman Castle and its Garden, The Municipal Palace, base of a library, rich of hystorical texts, and of Cordici Museum, full of archeological finds..
